INDIVIDUAL & RELATIONSHIP THERAPY | NASHVILLE
Find your way back to Self.
You can be very good at keeping life together and still feel far away from yourself.
I’m Lisa Stevens, a therapist and artist. I work with adults and couples navigating anxiety, grief, old wounds, and relationship patterns that keep landing in the same painful place.
In person in Germantown, Nashville. Online for clients located in Tennessee.
Understanding is a beginning. Practice matters, too.
You answer the email. Remember the appointment. Notice the change in someone’s voice before they’ve finished the sentence. By the end of the day, you know what everyone else needs. Your own answer takes longer.
Perhaps you’ve learned to stay useful, stay quiet, or stay three steps ahead. Those ways of coping have a history. Together, we can understand what they have protected—and what they are costing you now.
We make room for your feelings and practice different ways of responding. What happens in the room should have a place in the life you go home to.
Ways to work together
Individual Therapy
A place to understand anxiety, grief, people-pleasing, and the patterns that make it hard to feel at home in yourself. We work toward more room for your feelings, needs, and choices.
Relationship Therapy
When the same argument keeps returning, or betrayal has changed the relationship, we slow things down. We make room for what hurts, what needs to be owned, and what each of you wants next.
Art & Creative Exploration
Some experiences arrive as an image before they have words. Explore the place of art, symbols, and creativity in my work, and the distinction between therapy and studio gatherings.

I’m Lisa.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent fourteen years in the entertainment industry, working as a writer and producer and later as a supervising story producer. I developed ideas, shaped stories, and led creative teams—experience that still informs how I listen and my connection to artists and creative professionals.
I’m a therapist, artist, and mother. I bring warmth, directness, and a sense of humor to the room, along with respect for the things people learn to do to stay connected. There is room here for the complicated version of you.
You don’t have to have the right words yet. A consultation is a chance to ask questions, tell me a little about what brings you here, and see whether working together feels like a fit.
